Radio Free Honduras!
Join us for an intimate performance by founding members of Radio Free Honduras, Charlie Baran and Dan Abu-Absi.
-
Charlie Baran is a true virtuoso. No one sees him perform without recognizing the presence of a true master – an heir to a rich tradition of Honduran music, as well as a guitar slinging showman and a gifted songwriter whose skill transcends all genres.
- Dan Abu-Absi, longtime guitarist for JT and the Clouds and Birds of Chicago, founded Radio Free Honduras with the deeply held belief that music has the power to unite people from all walks of life and transcend language and cultural barriers….and, of course, that clearly resonates with our mission!
Radio Free Honduras regularly performs on festival stages across the U.S. as a large ensemble, don’t miss this rare opportunity to experience musical legend Charlie Baran and Dan Abu-Absi up-close and personal in the Listening Room.
- Expect an afternoon of unforgettable music, storytelling, and cultural connection.
