The Power of the Personal Story: Craft Your Narrative
Join five-time The Moth Story Slam champion Jitesh Jaggi as he teaches this workshop where we will write our own stories from scratch. Jitesh will guide the participants through a series of simple prompts and exercises that will walk the audience from a seedling of an idea to a fully-formed first draft.
Participants will also learn tips on how to overcome social anxiety
and other public speaking hurdles to be able to share
their stories- whether on stage or with friends and family.
This event is an Illinois Humanities’ Road Scholars Program.
