Fruteland Jackson is a 5-time Blues Music Award nominee and recipient of the “Keeping the Blues Alive” award.
With a career spanning decades, Fruteland has captivated audiences worldwide with his soulful performances and rich blues storytelling. An acoustic guitarist specializing in both pre-war and post-war blues, his repertoire includes the music of Robert Johnson, Big Bill Broonzy, Memphis Minnie, Elizabeth Cotten, and ragtime styles.
He is known for his deep commitment to preserving and teaching the blues, and has collaborated with renowned artists throughout his career.
He will be performing an approximately 90-minute blues concert.
