Día De Los Muertos Event

Join us for a Día de los Muertos celebration at The World Music Foundation’s Listening Room on October 31 from 6–8 PM!

There will be live music by the talented Jánne Moreno, a singer-songwriter originally from Torreón, Mexico. Jánne will share a lively mix of cumbia, jazz, bolero, ranchera, balada, and more.

Along with the music, enjoy pan dulce, play lotería, and come dressed for our Catrina/Catrín costume contest, with prizes for the winners. Guests will also be invited to add a remembrance note to our ofrenda in honor of someone they hold dear.

Artwork inspired by and in tribute to Día de los Muertos will be on display throughout our space by the talented Karina Gomez. Artwork will be available for viewing and prints will be available for purchase
